One Simple Tweak In Your Vocabulary That Will Improve Self-Confidence & Change Your Life Forever!

I have found that I am the biggest culprit of this. It’s an everyday struggle that I am trying to overcome and unlearn. The thing that makes it worse is that I have started hearing my oldest daughter use this “dirty” word too now!

If you take this one specific word out of your vocabulary you will start to change your mindset and actually start to accomplish more! You will start to believe you can do it, and actually do it!

What word am I talking about??

“Try”

Take the word “try” out of your vocabulary and replace it with “will”.

You will start to program your subconscious mind that you can do more things and then actually will do it! You will believe in yourself more, feel better doing it, and act with more confidence.

Who wouldn’t want to feel better putting effort into things you may not have a lot of confidence in?

One thing to remember, you need to still act cautiously and not make foolish decisions, but it does apply to most things we do for work, school, and everyday life.

Examples I am talking about are as follows:

“I will pass this test!”

“I will get everything done on my to-do list today!”

“I will make the most delicious lasagna for dinner tonight!”

Now those examples may not seem like a big deal but add them up all throughout your day and you will start to feel more confident and productive.
Speaking with self doubt and being unsure of yourself such as saying “I’ll try” gives yourself an out for not accomplishing your goal.

No, don’t do it!

Don’t make failure an option, say to yourself you will do it! You will do what you set your mind to.

Start today! Stop using the word “try” and replace it with “will” and do it consistently.

You will start to feel a difference and see a difference in your overall performance and outcomes of whatever it is you’re doing.

I challenge you right here and now as you read this post. Don’t use “try” for a whole day. Then stretch it to a whole week… then month…. see how much your life changes.

Leave a comment below and let me know if you’re going to do it and let’s see how you feel after the challenge.

I’d love to feature you in a future post.
